“TRISAKTI RUN 2025: Healthy Run, Strong Nation”
Jabartoday.com-Jakarta. In commemoration of the spirit of Heroes’ Day, which falls on November 10, the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian National Committee for Youth (DPP KNPI) is holding a running event titled “Trisakti RUN 2025: Healthy Run, Strong Nation”. This event, held in the city of Bandung, Monday (10/11/2025), aims to channel positive energy from youth and the wider public by promoting the values of heroism, togetherness, mutual cooperation, and healthy living.
“Trisakti RUN 2025” is not just a sporting event, but also a symbol of the young generation’s struggle in contributing to independence. The name “Trisakti,” taken from Bung Karno’s concept of Sovereign in Politics, Self-sufficient in Economy, and having a Personality in Culture, is intended to be revived in the spirit of the runners. “With a healthy body and a strong soul, the younger generation can contribute more optimally to building the nation,” stated Tantan Taufiq Lubis, Chairman of DPP KNPI.
The Secretary General of KNPI, Ahmad Fauzan, explained that this event, which is open to the public, offers several race categories, namely a 5K Fun Run open to all ages and families. The running route will pass through a number of icons and charming corners of Bandung City, creating a running experience that is not only healthy but also enjoyable. “Apart from that, we are also holding an MSME bazaar and a Cultural Parade. This activity is carried out in cooperation with the Indonesian Putra Nasional Foundation together with the organizer Aria Production.”
The goals of this event are: To embody Heroes’ Day with positive, healthy, and nation-building activities; To increase public awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle through running; To strengthen the bonds of friendship and a sense of togetherness among youth elements and the community; And to elevate and promote the potential of Bandung City, which in 2026 will host the Asia Africa Conference commemoration and in the following year will host the OIC Youth Capital 2027.
“We want to invite all elements of society, especially young people, to jointly embody Heroes’ Day not only with ceremony, but with real action. The act of maintaining personal health is the first step to building a strong nation. Through Trisakti RUN 2025, we realize the spirit of ‘Healthy Run, Strong Nation’,” concluded Tantan, who is also the Founder of the Asia Africa Youth Government, accompanied by the Secretary General of DPP KNPI and the General Treasurer.
