“Embracing Enthusiasm: BPSH KAHMI’s Online Halal Process Assistance Training Recruitment Launch During Ramadan”

Jabartoday.com-Jakarta. The official opening of the Recruitment for Halal Product Process Assistance Training (PPH) by the Halal Certification Organizing Agency (BPSH) under the auspices of the Korps Alumni Mahasiswa Islam (KAHMI) was met with full enthusiasm from participants, despite being held online during the month of Ramadan. The high level of interaction between organizers, presenters, and participants demonstrated a strong commitment to facing future challenges.

The event began with direct material followed by the official opening. Participants showed great interest in exploring and deepening their knowledge of halal product process assistance. Through a pre-test method, participants’ initial understanding of the material was found to be satisfactory. The organizers hope that through the post-test, participants’ understanding and skills in assisting business players will significantly improve, benefiting the welfare of the community.

Rudi Sihabuddin, Chairman of BPSH KAHMI, officially welcomed the event by emphasizing the important role of the HMI and KAHMI communities in national development. He stated that this collaboration is part of the intellectual and social responsibility of the community to create a just and prosperous society, always blessed by Allah SWT.

KAHMI Presidium, Abdullah Puteh, in his keynote speech, expressed appreciation for the Recruitment for Halal Product Process Assistance Training program as part of HMI and KAHMI’s active participation in national development. He emphasized that halal certification is a shared responsibility of the Indonesian nation as a majority Muslim population in the world, and participation in this program is a tangible commitment to that responsibility.

The Recruitment for Halal Product Process Assistance Training by BPSH KAHMI featured several important topics, such as General Policies and Regulations for Halal Product Assurance, Islamic Sharia Provisions related to Product Assurance, Product Process Assistance, Knowledge of Ingredients and Processes for Halal Products, as well as Verification, Validation, Digitalization, and Documentation of Product Process Assistance. Participants were also given assignments to present as a step to solidify their understanding and application of the material received.

In closing the event on Saturday, April 6, 2024, Almini, Director of the Halal Product Process Assistance Agency (LP3H) BPSH KAHMI, emphasized the importance of implementing halal certification regulations to ensure the safety, welfare, and trust of the Indonesian people in strengthening an inclusive and high-quality halal ecosystem.
